Lecture for mothers at Al-Baqa’a Camp

A lecture was held in Al-Baqa’a Camp on March 26th, for mothers having babies and children aged below 3 years old. The lecture aimed to educate the mothers on the importance of breastfeeding as breast milk is the best for babies, and the benefits of breastfeeding extend well beyond basic nutrition. On the other hand, infant milk formulas are considered a source of nutrition, energy and protection from illness, when breastfeeding is not possible. The lecture focused too on the benefits of toddler formulas over whole cow’s milk in that cow’s milk contains high concentrations of protein and minerals, which can stress the toddlers immature kidneys and cause severe illness.
